I'm thinking that the Noble deal must be on the verge of closing.  There were two fields that Ithaca was buying from Noble, the Cook and MacCulloch fields. As we know from the last NR the M field was having some problems due to the bad weather in the UK ( this would be Noble's problem)

So I"m thinking the Cook portion will close and the M portion purchase will be delayed until they sort out the problem,  or Ithaca will just not purchase the M portion because of the problem with the field..  Noble could also adjust the sale price (down) to compensate Ithaca for the down time.

Who knows, but it has been some time in closing this pretty simple deal.
