In the good ole days, HVU would have rocketed up 16% when the SPX is down as much as today. I can't understand why the VIX rocketed up 17-18% and HVU is struggling with momentum.  rate and reply

Hi Sutluc, If I recall correctly, you daytrade this sucker a lot. I am wondering though, it does appear that we are at or near bottom for VIX and VIX futures. Would this not be a hold now ? Cheers  rate and reply

I should also add that HVU is based off of a rolling position in first and second month futures. You can find out what the proportions are on horizons website at any given time.  rate and reply
