RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Trying to help

I think HVI was a license to print money (suprised HVU isn't higher today). I am not sure how much the rollover costs are each month - what has been killing this is the suppression in the VIX and more

Wow - I was looking at only 2 % down. When I saw your post, did a screen refresh and wow - didn't see this far of a drop.  rate and reply

RE:RE:RE:RE:Trying to help

I trade HVU very selectively. IMO it`s never a hold. All that is required is a long relatively flat period in the SP index for HVU to ruin your account through roll over losses. Not worth the more

They were buying cash market, not the futures, likely as they saw it as only temporary weakness, while outlook is still bullish for now.  rate and reply

".....sometimes" That's what I'm talking about. I am aware of how it works, but yesterday's move (HVU) was an outlier....out of whack, inexplicably, no matter how you slice it.  rate and reply

RE:RE:Out of whack

In the good ole days, HVU would have rocketed up 16% when the SPX is down as much as today. I can't understand why the VIX rocketed up 17-18% and HVU is struggling with momentum.  rate and reply

Out of whack

VXI up 15%, SPX down 15 points, and HVU struggling to keep a gain of a measly 4%? Another ludicrous bit to add to your list of insanities, borrowedlife.  rate and reply
