Drilling by Africa oil & Marathon will be initiated within the South Omo block, located near the southwestern perimiter of Ethiopia (refer to page 43 of the Cormark report, link below), the Gimbi block of Calvalley is located not that far to the north of the South Omo block (refer to page 49 of the Cormark Report, link below). What is as important or more IMO, is that Calvalley's Gimbi & Metema blocks are located along the border with South Sudan, the largest producer of oil in Africa.  Have a look at all block in south sudan and you will note that a number are close to the Ethiopia border.  Furthermore, the goverments of Ethiopia along with South Sudan and Djibouti have entered into an agreement to construct in the fall of 2013 a pipeline from south sudan to the port of djibouti via Ethiopia.  If you take a look at the potential route, the alignment goes through Calvalley's Metema block and north of Addis Ababa to Djibouti.  Final alignment to be determined next month and construction to srat by October 2013.  I am not sure the time frame to commissionned the pipe line, but it may concide with Calvalley's schedule, at least I hope.  The stars are aligning in 2013 for Calvalley, we will get rewarded for our patience.....
