Curiara-1 is on the Western edge of the Llanos, about 200 km from Bogota. CNE's RH and LLA-23 fields are further to the Northeast.
I wouldn't say these numbers are great, at least upon initial review. Certainly better than a duster, but given that PTA had thought this well had a 25% chance of success, I'd say it's a win for the company. Long term, this could be a decent well. PTA is discovering a fair bit of gas, and now they have two wells with mixed hydrocarbons (LA Casona is the other). The gas seems to have caused some operational and testing problems.
I am invested in PTA, and have a much more favourable opinion of them than I do CNE.
