No one knows what direction a stock`s price will move over the short term. Many fools claim to know but they are just fools playing at investing. You said that you bought at $58.35. Has anything about BNS, the company, changed since you purchased your shares that would make you want to sell your shares? When you buy shares of any equity you must be prepared for price fluctuations and sometimes those fluctuations are to the downside. If you are not cognizant of that on both a rational and an emotional level you won`t be successful investing in equities. Short term timing of buys and sells is impossible to do consistently. It doesn`t stop people from trying to do it but they are never successful at it beyond sheer luck. I find enrolling shares in DRIPS a good antidote to a nervous stomach but you should do whatever makes you comfortable.
