I for one am impressed by the structure by which BB has been issuing their press releases. Some part of me feels as though by release slow 'n steady press releases, BlackBerry is aiming to create a new & stronger base amongst it's shareholders. Sure, BB could have jumped the gun in the first week after launch and released sales figures. If the #'s were good, the stock would have run up very quickly....easily into the $20.00's...however in the weeks following, should there be an absence of news, we would start to hear so called analysts call foul, stating that the first weeks sales were due to "pent-up demand".
T.Heins is very smart and I believe he has made the strategic decision to avoid the above scenario.
Slow 'n Steady wins the race.
