I wouldn't be surprised or shocked if that is true.   Remember, Miseks checks stated production of 500k in dec and upped to between 1-2 million units in Jan.   Assuming that is true, how many went to the UK, which is a far bigger BB market than Canada?  Now, the units left have to be split between Canada, UAE and China in the next couple of weeks (and maybe more new production to resupply UK!!).  So now what is left for Canada has to be split between Rogers, Source, Best Buy, Walmart, Costco, Bell, Wind Mobile, Sask Tel, Manitoba Tel, Telus, wireless wave, etc, etc, etc, etc.   Add on top of that, units being held for online sales (I am sure that Rogers will have more than 30 for online!!).   Plus, with the new production, they will also have be accumulating stock to give to the USA carriers next month.     Wow, as I am typing this, I am starting to think that they may not even get 30 per store.....

Regardless, being "sold out" creates even more headlines (and thereby free publicity) for the company.  In some ways, it is much better than a headline saying , "still tonnes of stock everywhere..."   I know we would love to see 20 mill sold in the first month, but it is not possible.  It will take time to for the production and demand to meet, and in all reality, this needs to have permanant sales traction for long term success anyway.

Thinking I may jump back in on Monday!  Looks like $13 may indeed be the new bottom...

good luck to all longs and Rim (I mean BB!)
