I imagine that there are not too many rocket scientists in there.

They are dropping Blackberry that is on the verge of launching a platform that appears to be more than capable of overtaking the ios6 platform (under 2 months away), for Apple's ios6.

That same platform (ios6)  failed miserably in regards to its' Apple Maps that saw Apple offer an apology to its' customers and ask them to look elsewhere for map apps.

I'm glad a US transportation agency feels it's okay to go with a failed navigation system for their department.
