The long story is the fleet. Five years out AC will have the most modern, fuel efficient fleet in the air. The CEO now in place has been effective and pro-active on all issues and opportunities. Watch for the pension ruling to go his way. He is already lobbying to make Canadian airport charges and procedures (such as the handling of refugee claimants) more competitive with US near border airports. Face it, AC is the big leagues. It may, in the next few years be the only viable international carrier in North America. Of course, I could be wrong but if the current CEO stays on the job I see nothing but clear skies.
