Mr. Levitate,

   If you know anything about the market for Ti02 you should know this. Spend some time on the conference calls of major Paint producers, as I do. You will find out that the inventories of Ti02 in these companies is NEXT WEEK tops. Take the last quarter conference call with Sherwin Williams. The CFO said that they turn their inventories of Ti02 40Xs a year....they at most have 1 and 1/2 weeks of inventory at any one time. Meaning....this can turn on a dime as demand surges.

  It is not like other commodities where there is gluts of the stuff on the LME for everyone to see. Andrew Bell maybe right for this quarter.....but to call it a medium or long term trend is far from accurate. I would look closer at the longer term trends myself....all point UP!!!! And the producers of paint are still paying around $4000/ton...
