I would agree that it is unfair to label this a "nothing release". I believe this release gives us time-liness to hold them to. That is huge now that we have a unified voice that appears to be growing larger and larger. One must ask himself why do they put out a news release like this?
I think the NR confirms that there EIS is several months away--still!!
Furthermore, IMO this NR cements (for me) that the Billions needed (in whatever form you can dream up) are no-wheres close to being available. A continued HUGE failure by our CEO.
You know what really stinks? There is still no mention of Newmont, mtgs, joint venture obligations, etc. A continued HUGE failure in transparency by our CEO.
One last observation and comment. Read the following: "As part of these discussions with federal regulators, it has recently become apparent that additional water quality information will facilitate the federal government's interpretation of the Fisheries Act within the context outlined above. This additional testing is expected to be complete in May." I'm always VERY leary when I read that someone in the Federal Government needs more non specific data and then important interpretations will follow. Especially when it is getting this additional data from a company with the track record Shore has. AND-How can they just recently become aware of this???
So we are to expect this testing to be completed in May? I can't help but ask "which year?". Wasn't this part of the EIS supposed to have been submitted and completed in April (2011!!!!!!)???
I suppose there will still be those who feel Something is Brewing. I would like for those posters to present an argument for the same. I just can't picture anything of any importance brewing behind the scenes right now :(
We will set a new 52 week low between now and May.
