This may be construed as pumping, if you want.  However, I have for some time harboured a conviction the Key property may be the KEY to the whole area.  When you mention that NG's gold is shallow the geology suggests it has been deposited over time from other source(s).  NG's persistant drive to gobble up surrounding properties could indicate they also question the geology and also suspect the mother lode may be elsewhere within the general area.  What does Key have that may be so valuable?  A mountain which appears to be central to the surrounding gold deposits.

That is significant!  It is what I personally am gambling on.
