ALPHINAT MOST RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
Flying below the radar, management of Alphinat has made recent strides worthy of mention to the investing community. The most important highlights are detailed as follow:
IBM partnership (USA): Alphinat is recognized as an early adopter and partner in Enterprise solution delivery for IBM SmartCloud Enterprise and IBM PureSystems. Alphinat SmartGuide is one of a handful of IBM Partners who has been validated across the complete line of PureSystems appliances including IBM PureData, IBM PureApplication and IBM PureFlex. SmartGuide is available for deployment on IBM SmartCloud Enterprise and IBM SmartCloud Application Services (SCAS).
RackSpace: Alphinat has deployed SmartGuide on RackSpace.
Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud: Alphinat Smartguide is now also deployed on Amazon EC2 Clouds.
Redhat: SmartGuide is also validated on Redhat – KVM Virtualization, a next generation virtualization platform. ( http://redhat.force.com/catalog/PCProductDetail?id=a1k60000000H0FZAA0 )
Other Cloud initiatives underway: Alphinat has pursued Cloud computing validations with major players in the industry in the USA as well as in Europe. The company is progressing in discussions with global partners for strategic initiatives that could lead to global distribution and sales.
CSDC Systems Inc. ( www.csdcsystems.com ): OEM partnership for specific vertical markets with companies that have an established and captive client base. The first such agreement was signed with CSDC Systems Inc., a leading provider of business process automation solutions for government agencies and for the banking sector. During Q4 2012, CSDC has completed incorporation of SmartGuide into their AMANDA platform giving government and corporate customers the ability to quickly deploy online services that allow clients, businesses and citizens to safely and securely apply for, submit, track, manage, and pay for applications online. Commercialization of the OEM package has begun and has started to deliver results. This will provide Alphinat recurring revenues going forward.
Bull/Alphinat partnership in Europe: (DGME) is the French government agency responsible for State reform. This ongoing contract was renewed in October 2012 for an additional year, in order to expand its citizen-centric service deployment as they have ordered additional licenses from Alphinat to do so.
More Recent European sales: On October 2, 2012, the Company concluded the sale of a production license to a General Council of France. This sale not only validated the need for SmartGuide at different levels of government but also set the stage for OEM partnership discussions with a new potential partner.
Canadian Breakthrough: In December 2012, the Company finalized the sale of SmartGuide to two new Canadian provinces. Along with the Quebec government contract, Alphinat is securing a foothold and recurring maintenance fees in its backyard.
More sales in December 2012: Fresh off the pot, in December 2012, Alphinat delivered its first SmartGuide PaaS Edition platform destined to build a service market place for the Insurance Claims processing vertical for a hosted shared services environment.
Management and director support remains strong and visible, as virtually all of the short term and long term debt (about 1M$) is currently held by insiders and friends. CCFL Capital has confirmed its support by extending the maturity of the loan, and bringing along a high profile director with international contacts: Marcel Elefant. Investors should expect more in 2013 as the maturity of certain offering progress in the Cloud space.
