The reason for the pop is that your average joe can buy, but they can't sell (over the consolidation). So you have a load of buyers and a pile of frustrated sellers who think that it's only THEIR broker that sucks. Do the math - what happens when you have all buyers and the sellers are still under the ReDead's scream?
