The market was going to punish them if they hadn't. Waiting until the last minute isn't very impressive. Apparently, they do read these boards and were worried about letting the date slip by in silence. Hopefully, a bottom is getting put in but it's  too early to call it without knowing the equity finance needs at this time. The news is really non news designed to stanch the bleeding from non news. I wouldn't draw that much relief from it. It doesn't say anything other than acknowledging that they're running late. We might see a January effect in resource stocks. Let's hope so.
