We cannot predict what Pala might do because it is a private company and has no published strategy.  However, it is not an active mine operator so my view is that they have no interest in buying the company.  They are taking a position (most likely) so that they can make a great capital gain if mining operations can be turned around.

Nevada Copper has its hands full for the next 3 years getting ready to plan for and build a new mine.  Buying Mercator at this time would make no sense as they will need to raise a lot of money for Pumpkin Hollow.
