Anyone have any thoughts that Total may be the Tajikistan partner.  They just acquired 2 blocks beside TPL in Kazakhstan.  First Energy mentions it on its website as TPL news.  Total indicates in its press release that " the acquisition is in line with its  ambitious exploration strategy".  Could be a coincidence but  Total is a super major with deep pockets.  I guess we will know soon enough.  

When you look at the Tajik-Afghan basin  extension of the  Amu-Darya basin,it fits like a glove over TPL's  lands in Tajikistan.  It is abeautiful thing. Obviously no coincidence.
