Yeah MacDonalds and Tim Hortons are definitely not trying to make profits-- they are paying BIG wages to their employees trying to make them rich, and ignoring the shareholders. Yeah right.
Management is a go between in the relationship between the owners and the workers. They get crapped on from both sides. The Board of Directors are supposed to be the group guiding the ship to profitability, ( not in YLO case tho).
If your employees are not helping to make the company money they are fired. No social responsility to keep dead weight in a company.
