Can't speak to the Hykawy report, as I haven't seen it. Regarding Hodgins being biased, well yeah he's moderately short the stock. But we're all biased one way or another right? I like listening to market neutral guys who short stocks. While there message at times might not be palatable to investors long in the stock, the tend to be some of the smartest guys out there - Kyle Bass and Hugh Hendry come immediately to mind. I mean, I'm sure there are scumbags out there as well, and they ALWAYS talk their book, like we all do.
I view shorters and hedgies like pirates. Sure they may be evil, but they keep you on your toes. :)
