The key for RIM is to release more than just numbers... If they just release numbers, even if the numbers are great, I think the market reaction will be a little on the luke warm side. If the numbers are bad or somewhat neutral... It's going to be ugly.
They need to start building some forward momentum prior to releasing BB10 rather than get punished and pummelled for another 6 months before releasing a new phone (and hopefully a spec'd up 10" Playbook too).
But, RIM are masters of disappointment and I fear that all we are going to get are OK numbers and nothing more.
