Been doing some research on the internet with respect to the latest DRC news release from the company. I found an article on "Voice of America" website entitled "Survey Shows Lake Tanganyika's Oil Potential in Tanzania - dated Aug 28/2012. Unfortunately, I cannot cut and paste for some reason onto Stockhouse - so you will have to find the article yourself. The article talks about an Australian Company - Beach Energy who are doing oil exploration on Lake Tanganyika on the Tanzanian side. I found this bit interesting taken from the article and I quote "There is an oil slick, a natural oil seep, that sits on the lake on the DRC side. You can actually see it on Google earth. I think it's the largest natural oil seep in the world. What that indicates is there's a working petroleum system underneath the Lake, said Jamieson." - end quote
Look to the AOS's news release on the DRC acquisition - "The DRC blocks comprise over one million acres gross covering the Kalemie sub basin on Lake Tanganyika. We have a 43.75 % working interest in the Kalembe Block (Block 5) and Fatuma Block (Block 6).
IS THERE ANY REASON TO BE SOMEWHAT EXCITED HERE BY THE COMPANY'S LATEST ACQUISITION?
