I "think" that VUL owns 30% of a company called NWest Energy. When I first noticed the NWest holdings I didn't think much of it, but I see a fellow that I respect called "stateside", seems to think NWest could be successful with "shale" oil. Stateside has his own online commentary about resource stocks which can be quite informative.
