It's about 70 degrees with absolutely no breeze, unreal weather here. should reach near 80 today. definitely not good for NG, but then again no NG in the Bahamas. I can't believe it, no wind. It's the perfect weather......blue skies and crystal clear waters. Off to Paradise Island, certainly hope HNU longs have a good day. Won't be able to check in until tomorrow......anyway my internet connection keeps dropping.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.....GO HNU GO....sooner or later...
Link attached below.... does appear that Texas may experience this rare occurance. It may have a small effect on NG but nevertheless not enough for anything more then a quick pop. I would prefer to see a nice steady increase in NG of lets say 5%-7% per week for the next 4-6 weeks
The weather pattern that brings this kind of cold is called the McFarland Signature where a strong high pressure ridge at 500mb develops over Alaska and the northern Pacific creating a huge buckle (trough) that sends the bitter cold diving straight south into the central and eastern U.S.
