Get it together

Hello all

We just joined and this will be our first and last post.

I speak for a a little investment club down at our legion. As a group we have been investing and following many companies over the years and often invest in numbers together, not big numbers mind you. So we wanted to set the record straight on a few things that seem to have ruined this forum group. First of all it is foolish to believe that forum boards have no effect on share price, this is for you jailtrader so listen up.

When regular folk want to make an investment, of their own doing, they have few choices or recourses that are not Internet based. So if you google gwg you will almost certainly see many of the entries posted here come up, and whether you believe it or not they have sway over people. With trading the way it is it does not take a genius to figure out that if just a few people were encouraged to buy or sell on something because of something they read here that the volume and share price might move. Even hedge funds and short sellers will only commit so much to holding things down, and things dear Lordy are being held down.

So let me tell you about our little group, because I'm sure there are many just like us. We gather a couple of days a week, most of us are fully retired and we do all our on investing. We watch BNN and CNBC daily, we also follow breaking news very closely. We all read the business news papers, old school way in printed form, often hi-lighting things for later reference, we follow the comments posted on forums like this, and we make money, non of us have ever reported a negative year on our taxes, sure we have lost money on the odd stock gone south, but come tax time, when all the chips are counted, we've made money.

So back to why we are here. This use to be about the best stockhouse forum group there was, maybe one of the best on the Internet all together. And now you folks have all seemed to have lost your way or something,  infighting about things that don't matter only serve to discredit your earlier work and reputations. So my group put together a list of points that we wanted you to hear, some you may not like, but they are probably pretty close to how most forum followers feel.

Let me start with the use of the ignore feature which we as a group use. As a group we have limited time and we follow many stocks so the GWG forum is not the only one we follow. So a typical session works like this, we sign in and start at the post where we last left off, then we hit the newer icon and move through the posts, now if we don't have you on ignore and you are responding to some fool who we do have on ignore it slows us down, so please don't.

Next is what we call credible posting by credible posters. These are the posters who's posts, until recently mind you, we most like to see. While we have many we are addressing todays comments to three in particular.

So lets start with Waters.

Sir. for years you provided inspiring information on the company and it's prospects while keeping it all business in a way like no other, on any forum, any where. Then you let the nay sayers bring you down. Lately, your posts seem to be about unrelated heart warming stories or you're just trying to shout down some idiot who ends every post with a series of Ha, Ha, Ha. This is beneath you and we would ask that you please stop.

Poncho

As for you it is  the same as waters. What use to be great about you was the way you could take complicated information, posted by others, and simplify it. But like waters your discrediting yourself by arguing with fools who offer nothing.

Jailtrader

The harshest criticism comes for you. What happened to you? When we first started following this forum we wrote you off as a jailbird fool with all you mumbo jumbo about triangles, volume, symmetrical this and that. But after a while we stared to notice that more often then we would have believed you were right. We even started tracking you to see where else you post and how your calls made out there. And again you were correct more times than not. I think some of the older ladies in our group were even a little smitten with you as they imagined you to be some tuff convict with a heart. But like Sir. Waters you lost your way and now seem to post endless gibberish as you try to debate with fools while you become one. It has never been clear to us as why you would post things anyway if you really were some criminal. But as far as making money goes maybe you could just stick to your T.A as it by itself is greatly appreciated and we have traded based on it.

So we would ask that you gentlemen give some serious thought to what you're posting these days. Is it helpful or insightful in any way? Or just food for the fools who have no place better to be. We follow many forums and we can tell you good ones always attract the most needy people, clubhouse, swiffer, derminator, Salmo tutta and even Reeinvestorguy are not worth the effort of any your replies as they are here for attention nothing more.

For the rest of the occasional posters who offer good commentary or insightful links please keep up the good work, it is appreciated. For those who stopped posting good commentary or insightful links please come back.

As stated, when I first started this posting,  this would be our first and only post as a group. Many of us post occasionally under our regular names but not as a group. So save your replies because there will be no return comments.

Thank you all for your time.
