Pumper / Basher - Bullboard Logic 101

If someone has invested their own money in a company or purchased company stock, would they continue to post negativity about that company 24/7?  Would they make comments about that company going bankrupt?  Would they cast doubt on every single news release?  Is a poster involved in such behavior truly an investor?  Logic for that kind of behavior, bashing, is one of threefold: 1) They are mentally ill 2) They work for a firm shorting the stock 3)  They create additional fear and doubt in an attempt to accumulate shares at cheaper prices for themselves or for the boiler room.
