I have seen manipulators trade odd lot on both  sides of the trade to drive the price down. When you see odd number of shares on both sides at about the same time it is manipulation. Normally only the big traders dare do this so their shares rarely get stolen.

It is actually a good sign because someone with clout is accumulating and the whole purpose is to drive the average trader nuts and steal their shares.

It is how the heavy hitters play the game - rigged!
