SANA'A, Jan. 29 (Saba) - Huge and vital oil and gas discoveries would be discovered in Yemen according to relevant studies, President of Middle East in Total Group said Tuesday.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa, Arnaud Breuillac expressed the company's willingness to increase its investments in Yemen.

Total will offer the best prices to sell the Yemeni liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the coming period, Breuillac said, stressing the importance of reinforcing security for the Total projects and facilities in the country.

The Premier said that the government does every effort to ensure the security of investment projects, which is a key factor in the country's stability and investment environment improvement.

He stressed the importance of reconsider the Yemeni LNG's prices according to the international prices to achieve the fair revenues for the country and the company.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of the Total activities in oil and gas exploration and production and the development future plans in addition to the security protection required to the company's facilities.
