my experience in trading is the partners of a junior company impose restrictions on what is said to the public until the story has been fully developed, they will only release what absolutely needs to be released by law and they will wait as long as possible to even do that, Alere and all other partners do not want competitors sniffing around until they have secured long term agreements with the junior company in question, VIV was under a similar thing when it couldn't disclose the first order from Teva until it was no longer possible to hide it, it was released on sedar but they took as long as they possibly could.

I have accepted that as a small fish I will never get the scoop until the very last second, that works ok for me.
