This is really the first intelligent decision that has been made. Burnstone produced 6,392 oz last quarter at a cost of $2,325/oz. That operation is hemorraging cash so it had to be stopped. Hollister was 14,857 ozs at $983 per. Not great, but at least that operation has done/can do better. When something needs to get turned around, the first order of business is to stop the bleeding. Burnstone IS the bleeding. As far as sp, intelectually this should be viewed as positive - emotionally may be different. We'll see tomorrow.
