Mid Day Mining Movers for August  21, 2009.

EcoMetals (EC, 0.46) continues clim
bing on strong accumulation in anticipation of recieving drill permits for their Rio Zarza gold property in Ecuador.  The Rio Zarza borders Kinross' 13.7 million ounce deposit; the company (and investors) have high expectations once the drills start turning. Approx 48 million shares o/s.

Great Quest (GQ, 0.07) is up over 100% on 3.8 million shares traded following the release of high grade phosphate grab samples (33% P205) from their property in Mali, Africa.  Approx 36 million shares o/s.

EuroMax (EOX, 0.20) several trades, totalling over 1 million shares, went through at 0.16 before the stock moved up to 0.20.  EOX recently completed a merger with Silk Road Resources, and sold off non-core assets, giving them a large treasury of nearly $15 million, and an impressive roster of projects throughout Southeastern Europe.
