Just updated on my site.
Sometime the markets don't make sense. You would think that gold would now be over $2000 with all the bad news we are hearing about Euro Crisis. If and when the Euro Crisis is temporary resolved, the focus will then be on the U.S.A. The U.S.A debt issues will make the Euro Crisis look like a walk in the park.
With current weakness in Gold Stocks, I have taken and increased my position in some gold companies. I increased my position in Perseus Mining-PRU.to, Eldorado Gold-ELD.to which I bought yesterday at the close. I also increased my position in Torex Gold-TXG.to. Lakeshore Gold-LSG.to looks very attractive at current prices and I haven't yet increased my position. I am currently down on LSG.to and I am considering on averaging down. LSG.to should offer investors some nice long term gains from current prices. Here is the LSG.to presentation -Denver Gold Show- : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
Note: If investors are going to be in this gold market, I recommend sticking with best of breed. The companies I am currently paying attention to are mostly gold producers or companies that are well funded and developing multi-million oz gold deposits.
Here are some presentations from companies I own and follow the Denver Gold Show:
Perseus Mining-PRU.to : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
Perseus Mining is an attractive take over target. Down due to market sell off.
Osisko Mining-OSK.to: http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
Osisko Mining - 2012 production 700,000oz of gold - $450-$500 cash cost. "Cash Cow" at current gold prices.
Centamin Egypt- CEE.to : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
At current prices Centamin Egypt offers investors upside. This is another company that has been beaten down due to the market sell off and some mining issues that had the last quarter.
Great Basin Gold-GBG.to : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
Great Basin Gold is a screaming buy under $1.80. Down due to market sell off.
Colossus Minerals -CSI.to : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
CSI.to is very attractive at current prices. Another attractive takeover target. Down due to market sell off.
Rubicon Minerals RMX.to: http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
As I mentioned in my last post. I would be buying aggressively under $3.50. We saw prices below $3.50 this week. Down due to market sell off.
Argonaut Gold-AR.to : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
I don't own a position yet in AR.to but I am watching it very close. Down due to market sell off.
Extorre Gold Mines- XG.to: http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
Trading at attractive levels. We should hear some news on their Zoe Discovery soon. Down due to market sell off.
Eldorado Gold-ELD.to : http://www.denvergold.org/gold-forums/dgf-2011/dgf11-webcast/dgf11-webcast-day1.html
Should recover nicley as gold prices head higher. I have day traded this stock, but I do like it as a longer term gold play.
Lex Corp News Letter
Word of Caution: Investors need to remember that the markets are very volatile. If you can't handle this volatility then you should sit on the fence. You need to be ready to lose all or most of your investments. I recommend keeping stops in place. I don't know when we will see the bottom. But, I know if gold was to pull back to $1000 -(which I believe is unlikely) the companies I have mentioned will still make a lot of money. We could be seeing another once in a life time buying opportunity again in gold stocks. Best of luck and happy trading.
