These articles demostrate the odd situation that the US and China find themselves in. Their economies are joined at the hip; one unsustainably producing, one unsustainably consuming. Chinese demographics and their 'one child policy' is going to come back to haunt them... how? As of this moment India is a demographically younger country. If they get their act together they could easily eclipse China economically. Anyhow a great read. (I still think it is too simple to say 'we're heading for (in/de)flation!' quite yet. I suspect different asset classes will do both.)
