I'm just your average daytrader, I buy and sell into stocks about 10 times a day. I'm not greedy, lots of times I go for 1/2 penny flips on stocks under $1.00 and Nickel/Dime gains on stocks over $1.00. I only play with $50K, if my portfolio goes over $50K then I transfer the extra money into a cash account, this prevents me from buying stocks that turn into investments and making mistakes. I have no problem taking losses to move onto the next play as it's easy to recover your losses. I've been trading for almost 10 years but the last year I've changed my whole strategy and find it to be successful thus far. I use TD Webbroker so it's $9.99 comissions. Most important thing in daytrading is don't fall in love with the stock or story and take all emotions out of trading. I've had many people inbox me asking me how to daytrade, I hope this will shed some light and perhaps those that follow will have some success. I will try and post my picks and transactions daily.
