The U.S. economy is sliding into a recession, there is almost no doubt about it, plus SIVs, ABCP etc...That said, valuations are good, but not great (all things considered). My fundamental analysis of Canadian banks  still  suggests  that BMO, RY and BNS  should outperform the broad market and especially the banking...
