Yorbeau Intercepts a New Gold Bearing Structure on the Augmitto Block

Thursday February 15, 7:00 am ET

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 15, 2007 -- Yorbeau Resources Inc. (Toronto:YRB-A.TO) is pleased to provide the following update on its recently completed drilling program which was carried out on the Augmitto Block of the Company's Rouyn Property.

In addition to demonstrating the continuity at depth of the mineralized zones comprising the Augmitto historical resources, the program has now identified an entirely new style of gold mineralization. To date the mineralized zones comprising the historical Augmitto resources have been encountered entirely within an alteration zone consisting of carbonatized ultramafic rocks (mineralized corridor) hosted by Temiskaming Group sediments. The Company has encountered for the first time a gold bearing structure directly within the Temiskaming Group sediments. This new structure, intersected by Borehole 06-S-418 at a depth of 825.60 meters, consists of a system of veins and veinlets of smokey quartz-tourmaline with visible gold and representing approximately 20 % of the total volume of the core. The most promising section of this intercept is located at a core depth from 841.50-843.50 meters with an average grade of 6.95 g/t Au over two meters or 0.2 oz/t Au over 6.56 feet. Detailed results are as follows:

This distinct gold bearing zone located in the Temiskaming Group sediments further expands the exploration potential of the Rouyn Property.

The Augmitto historical resources were estimated in 1988 as consisting of a total diluted reserve of 1,896,803 short tons at 0.165 oz/ton Au in the proven, probable and possible categories using a cut-off of 0.075 oz/ton Au (ACA Howe) prior to National Instrument 43-1011 (1). These resources were calculated to a vertical depth of approximately 185 meters or 600 feet. Boreholes 06-S-416B, 06-S-417 and 06-S-418 have all successfully intercepted the alteration corridor containing the mineralized zones hosting the historical Augmitto resources at the respective vertical depths of 687 meters (2,254 feet), 613.5 meters (2,013 feet) et 762 meters (2,500 feet). The following tables present the principal results for 06-S-416B and 06-S-417 :
