Every day my mission will be to set forth a road map for traders to follow which will help them in their trading over the short and long term to bring some clarity to the possible direction of the stock market and be able to use the directional calls as your game plan. The swings in the S&P will very often reflect the over-all direction of the stock market, which can also be used for individual stocks actively traded daily.

  • Caution Ahead

    86 Reads | 0 Comments | October 6, 2009 added back some shorts on teh market again. This seems to be nothing more than a light volume retrace back up . Some areas to watch are the 1060 and 1080 areas. Today we had a nice move to the 1060 area and have fallen back.

    We have a lot of congestion on the SPX index chart into the 1080-1100 area. This is also fills a gap noted on the chart as well. The Fed FOMC meeting is Wednesday and the reaction of there possible tightening of the liquidity that they have been using to support this monster rally may be starting to be taken back. I'm personally at this point not interested in any long exposure as the risks...

    I believe the market is any day going to have of a decent size sell off . Wecould go off at any time. What was interesting to me today was the factthat the S & P had trouble with the 1070 area. There could beanother attempt at that level tomorrow but my feeling is that it willbe a last ditch effort before the slide commences. The selling begins when  when 1054 and 1047 are penetrated.
