MAHDIA ADVISES SHAREHOLDERS OF UNAUTHORIZED LITIGATION

Mahdia Gold Corp. wishes to inform shareholders that a notice of civil claim was filed against it in the Supreme Court of British Columbia on Feb. 28, 2012, by Aztek Resource Development Inc. Mahdia looks forward to vigorously defending itself in court, where Mahdia believes it will prevail on the merits.

The company wishes to assure its shareholders that it is taking all steps available to it to quash the spurious and unauthorized action purportedly commenced by Aztek. The action was commenced by a director acting without board authority, represented by a lawyer who has been found guilty of professional misconduct on three past occasions. The pleadings have no factual basis and contain numerous erroneous allegations with no supporting evidence.

Mahdia is acutely aware of its responsibility to its shareholders and values the trust shareholders put in the company. The defense of this lawsuit will further demonstrate the company's commitment to transparency and ethical business practices.

Mahdia is proud of its recent successes and will continue to focus on building its business growth plan with its corporate partners.
