Hubspan Inc., a leading provider of business integration solutions, today announced that it has been named a Leader by Forrester Research, Inc. in its just published report, The Forrester Wave(TM): B2B Service Providers, Q4 2009. Hubspan was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in its October 2009 Forrester Wave report.

In the evaluation, Forrester reviewed the strengths and weaknesses of Hubspan and 11 other B2B service providers across 85 criteria. Participants were evaluated across multiple areas, including EDI/XML support; integration services, such as enterprise application integration, business process management (BPM) and service oriented architecture (SOA); and hosted managed file transfer.

Hubspan achieved the highest possible score of 5 out of 5 in various subcategories, including community management, security and data privacy, managed services, road map for the future and industry focus. Additionally, Hubspan received a 5.0 score for its strategic technology partnerships, which include IBM, Visa and CNET, to name a few.

According to the report, Hubspan is "well positioned for growth considering its integration solution's recently expanded range." Additionally, the report stated that, "Hubspan scored in the Leader ranks due to its own hosted integration capability and its WebSpan partnership with IBM."

Earlier this year Hubspan launched a joint solution with IBM, called WebSpan. The WebSpan SaaS Integration Solution combines Hubspan's on-demand integration platform with key components of IBM WebSphere integration software.
