MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Nov 25, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE: SOI) and DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE: DOS) are pleased to announce the results from diamond drilling and channel sampling from the PONTAX - LITHIUM property in James Bay, Quebec. The drilling and the channel sampling confirm the lithium mineralised zone over a width varying from 10 up to 50 metres down to a vertical depth of 60 metres under the surface and over a strike length of more than 425 metres. The zone is open at depth and on strike. The main assays results are shown in the two following tables:

True widths are approximately 85% of intersected widths
Thickness of the pegmatites, which are found in mafic volcanic rocks, generally vary between 3 to 5 metres in thickness but can also reach up to 13.5 metres. The pegmatites are mineralized in spodumene (lithium mineral) whereas many of the volcanic rocks contained holmquistite, another lithium mineral.
Seven series of channel samples composed of 1 metre each were spread over a 400-metre portion of the pegmatitic lithium swarm. All drilling core samples (488) and channel samples (205) were assayed at the Actlabs laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario. A strict QA/QC program was followed which included mineralized standards and blanks for each batch of samples. Sodium peroxide was used to dissolve the samples and were assayed by ICP-AES and ICP-MS. Lithium assays results were converted into Li2O % (1% Li equals 2.15% Li2O).
