On Monday, New Pacific Metals (TSX: V.NUX, Bullboard) shares soared 40% to $2.80 after the micro-cap miner reported exploration results from its HNK Gold-Polymetallic Project in Guangdong, China, which included a weighted average grade of 55.05 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 8.13 metres.
As well, PetroFalcon (TSX: T.PFC, Bullboard) said it has signed an agreement for the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Anadarko Venezuela for US$200 million in cash. PetroFalcon stock popped 34% to $1.50.
In Tuesday trading, Commander Resources (TSX: V.CMD, Bullboard) shares soared 50% to 21 cents after the junior explorer said it has acquired a copper and zinc property within a 62,320 hectare land position in Nunavut, which included a number of historical drill intercepts as high as 5.09% copper over 53.9 metres.
In addition, shares of Typhoon Exploration (TSX: V.TOO, Bullboard) shot up 11% to 10.5 cents as the miner reported results on its Cote-Nord property in Quebec, which included a sample grading 1160 parts per million of 0.201% uranium.
Wednesday’s market action saw Dios Exploration (TSX: V.DOS, Bullboard) shares shoot up 12% to 29 cents after the micro-cap explorer said it has reviewed the findings of a low-level aerial spectrometric survey recently completed on its UPINOR uranium property in Quebec, which showed a large geophysical anomaly, with clusters of high background ratios of uranium thorium with values of up to three times the norm.
Also, shares of OccuLogix (TSX: T.OC, Bullboard) skyrocketed 140% to 12 cents as the ophthalmic devices provider for the diagnosis and treatment of age-related eye diseases reported that its point-of-care diagnostics subsidiary, OcuSense, Inc., has received company-wide certification to ISO 13485:2003, which is a global standard that specifically focuses on the unique and rigorous requirements for companies involved in the development of medical devices.
On Thursday, Transeuro Energy (TSX: V.TSU, Bullboard) shares soared 53% to 23 cents after the oil and gas explorer provided an update on its drilling operations in Ukraine on the Karlavskoye 101 well, which has currently reached the middle of the target reservoirs at 3,311 metres with repeated gas kicks and oil shows seen in the upper reservoirs. Intermediate logs were run at 3,174 metres over the top two target reservoirs and indicated a presence of hydrocarbons.
As well, shares of Wescan Goldfields (TSX: V.WGF, Bullboard) shot up 23% to 18.5 cents as the junior miner announced results from its Jojay Project in Saskatchewan, which included 62.50 g/t gold over one metre and 8.39 g/t gold over 4.30 metres.
And, in Friday trading, Longbow Resources (TSX: V.LBR, Bullboard) shares soared 31% to 63 cents after the oil and gas explorer announced an agreement by which a private Alberta company, Bidco, will purchase all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Longbow for cash consideration of 70 cents a share, or total consideration of $40 million.
Finally, shares of RepeatSeat (TSX: V.RPS, Bullboard) shot up 30% to 17.5 cents as the entertainment solutions provider announced the launch of FirsTicket.com, an online marketplace that will provide entertainment lovers means of selling and purchasing tickets to concerts, theatres and sporting events.
